Mr. Eaves’ has over 17 years experience mapping business strategy to IT and conducting the requisite process and organizational analysis to maintain business and IT alignment. He has worked with such organizations as Countrywide, Agilent Technologies, CB Richard Ellis, and numerous agencies and departments within the State of California including DMV and Caltrans.
Mr. Eaves has extensive experience in enterprise architecture, strategic IT consulting, business process re-engineering and project management.
Mr. Eaves has over eleven years of experience as an executive-level consultant to many of the departments and agencies within the State of California. As such, he has developed background knowledge in some of the major information systems in the State and has knowledge of the State’s processes and practices (e.g., procurement, oversight, budgeting). Mr. Eaves has helped departments and agencies deal with the challenges of furthering e-Government and those related to the constant stream of legislation impacting their information systems.

Darren Chiappinelli, Managing Director
Mr. Chiappinelli has a deep background in software engineering, enterprise architecture, and program management consulting. He has led programs and initiatives for clients such as AT&T, DirecTV, Toyota, and the States of California and Montana. A US Army Veteran and a graduate of the United States Military Academy at West Point, NY where he concentrated in computer science engineering, Mr. Chiappinelli brings 15 years of information technology experience working on systems and projects from several million to several hundred million dollars.
In addition to his role as a Sabot principal, Mr. Chiappinelli serves on the board of the ExplorationWorks Science Museum and is a consultant to the board of the National Wild Horse Center. Prior to co-founding Sabot, he worked as a manager and senior engineer at RWD Technologies, a renowned software engineering company, and as a senior manager at Grant Thornton, LLP.

Ms. deForet has more than 16 years of experience providing management and business development services for a variety of technical industries. Her areas of expertise include design and implementation of quality assurance systems, business strategy based procurement, and implementation oversight for information technology systems. Ms. deForet's procurement experience, industry knowledge, negotiation and communication skills, and detailed understanding of good project management practices have been key elements in ensuring the successful implementation of IT systems for her clients in both private and public sector organizations.
Prior to joining the IT industry, Ms. deForet provided business strategic planning, business process improvement, organizational efficiency, and quality assurance services for C-level staff in the Life Sciences industry.
Ms. deForet has a Master of Business Administration from the University of California, Davis Graduate School of Management and a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from Norfolk State University School of Science and Technology.
