CA Department of Transportation (Caltrans) selects Sabot Technologies for acquisition servcies

CA Board of Equalization awards Digital BOE Enterprise Architecture Contract (Jun 2009) Sabot Technologies was selected to assist the California Board of Equalization (BOE) with defining the enterprise architecture (EA) for BOE's Digital BOE initiative. Sabot will lead a joint client/consultant project team through this initiative by leveraging Sabot's comprehensive EA methodology and extensive EA experience with other State entities.
Sabot Technologies Assists Montana State Fund with Telecommunications Procurement

Sabot will develop the technical and non-technical requirements, craft the Request for Proposal, and design the evaluation and scoring process. We will also serve as subject matter experts in both the telecommunications and procurement best practices domains throughout the procurement process..
Sabot Technologies Wins Two Contracts at CDCR (Jun 2009) The California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation (CDCR) has awarded Sabot Technologies two contracts for project oversight (IPOC) and independent verification and validation (IV&V) on their DECATS and EdFirst systems development projects.
The objective of the Disability and Effective Communication Accommodations Tracking System (DECATS) is to identify, track, and report on disabled offenders and the accommodations provided to them. The DECATS system is being developed as a cornerstone of the compliance court orders under several Federal and State lawsuits. DECATS will further enhance compliance by adding or improving nine functional areas to the present tracking system and by addressing additional reporting requirements. Sabot has repeatedly demonstrated the importance of project and technical independent oversight on court mandated systems projects. Sabot’s co-founder, Darren Chiappinelli, explains, “Our consultants have experience assisting CDCR in reporting progress, solving technical issues, and resolving management challenges. We are able to provide independent assurances to court compliance officers, plaintiff’s counsel, and directly to the court as an expert witness. The Education For Inmates/Wards Reporting and Statewide Tracking (EdFirst) project will capture, track and report data for the academic and vocational programs provided by CDCR for incarcerated adult inmates and confined juvenile wards. This award represents the continuing value and risk mitigation Sabot offers on large systems projects as an oversight service provider.
Sabot Technologies Wins Strategic Telecommunications Contract
(Apr 2009) Sabot Technologies was selected to develop a strategic telecommunications plan and design the telecommunications system for Montana State Fund's new Helena Facility. Sabot partnered with Burgess Communications and Morrison-Maierle Systems Corp to provide a renowned team of telecommunications architects. Sabot will work closely with MSF to plan and design the telecommunications systems that will support Montana State Fund's future business plans.

Sabot chose Helena because of its developing business with the State of MT and due to Helena's attractive business-friendly environment. The office is located at 845 Great Northern Blvd., central to the city's business district and downtown amenities and just a few minutes from the airport.
